Jigsaw Learning to Continue Collaboration with Northern Gateway Public Schools

Jigsaw Learning will continue to lead the refinement and enhancement of the NGPS Quality Learning Environment (QLE) and Collaborative Response practices across the division. This year’s support plan includes a range of activities designed to deepen QLE implementation and provide tailored support to schools.

Key activities include:

  • QLE Support: Jigsaw Learning will facilitate six Director planning sessions, both in-person and virtual, and facilitate four QLE Lead Team Days to guide and refine the Quality Learning Environment across the division.
  • Collaborative Response Support: A dedicated bank of 10 days will be available for schools to receive:
  • Inclusive Education Support: Aligning Inclusive Education services at Northern Gateway with the Collaborative Response and Quality Learning Environments structures already in place in schools. This will serve as year 3 of providing support for Inclusive Education services.

Additionally, NGPS schools will continue to utilize the WeCollab software to bolster their Collaborative Response efforts and maintain their annual subscription to the Collaborative Response Membership for ongoing support and resources.

"We’re excited to continue our work with NGPS, focusing on enhancing both the Quality Learning Environment, Collaborative Response practices and Inclusive Education services to provide targeted support and drive meaningful improvements across the division," said Kurtis Hewson, Co-Founder of Jigsaw Learning.

For the past twelve years, our team has worked with Northern Gateway Public Schools to implement and refine Collaborative Response across the system. This support has engaged divisional staff at all levels.
