Through a comprehensive, multi-layered support plan, Jigsaw Learning will work alongside school teams to enhance and refine Collaborative Response practices across the district. This year’s efforts focus on both new and ongoing support for all schools, ensuring consistent implementation and improvement.
Key elements of the Year 2 support plan include:
- Collaborative Response Overview for New Staff: Onboarding opportunities will be provided to help new staff understand the foundational components of Collaborative Response.
- School Leadership Team Days: Each school will identify a team of 3-5 members, including the principal, to participate in a series of four leadership days aimed at deepening their Collaborative Response practices.
- Leadership Consultation Support: Schools will receive up to six hours of online, individualized consultation with a Jigsaw Learning Associate to assist with the ongoing implementation and refinement of Collaborative Response.
- Collaborative Team Meeting Feedback: In the spring, schools will receive tailored feedback on their collaborative team meetings to improve their processes and outcomes.
- Collaborative Response Membership: All schools will have access to the Collaborative Response Membership, providing additional resources and continuous professional learning support.
This initiative underscores the commitment to fostering a system-wide, collaborative approach that supports every student’s success.
"We're excited to continue supporting Holy Family Catholic Regional Division in refining and enhancing Collaborative Response, ensuring every school has the tools and guidance needed for student success," said Kurtis Hewson, Co-Founder of Jigsaw Learning.
“Collaborative Response has allowed our school teams to focus on improvement goals using data and processes that support team meetings directed at student growth and success in multiple areas. We look forward to further implementing this framework with the support of Jigsaw Learning,” said Betty Turpin, Superintendent.
