Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) is set to continue to reintroduce and enhance the implementation of Collaborative Response through a multi-layered support plan designed to deepen practices across the system. This initiative aims to build on existing efforts and provide targeted support to both Phase 1 and Phase 2 schools.
Key elements of the support plan include:
- Collaborative Response 101 Course: Access to a foundational course for all PWPSD staff to ensure a strong understanding of Collaborative Response principles.
- Phase 1 Support: Continued support for 15 schools with 2.5 School Leadership Team days and in-school leadership consultation.
- Phase 2 Support: Enhanced support for an additional 15 schools, including four School Leadership Team days and two hours of leadership consultation per school.
- Steering Team Establishment and Support: Four half-day meetings to establish and support a steering team for ongoing implementation.
- Collaborative Response Membership: All schools will receive access to the Collaborative Response Membership for additional resources and support.
- Subscription to WeCollab: Participating schools will be subscribed to the WeCollab system to further enhance their Collaborative Response efforts.
This comprehensive approach reflects Peace Wapiti’s commitment to strengthening Collaborative Response practices and providing sustained support to ensure a responsive and effective learning environment for all students.
“We’re excited to build on our existing efforts and deepen Collaborative Response practices across Peace Wapiti, ensuring all schools receive the targeted support and resources needed for effective implementation and continuous improvement,” said Kurtis Hewson, Co-Founder of Jigsaw Learning.
