Option #1 - Envisioning a Collaborative Response Model: Supporting ALL Students - presented by Lorna Hewson
It is virtually impossible for a teacher to know how to successfully provide instruction and support for all students in diverse, inclusive contemporary classrooms. Come learn about a Collaborative Response Model, a school framework that values collaborative, action focused responses, data-informed discussions, and timely intervention to ensure all students can experience success. Come learn how hundreds of school leadership teams are establishing inclusive structures to ensure support for every student, while enhancing professional expertise and collective efficacy. Numerous Alberta school and district examples, as well as access to a myriad of resources will be provided.
Option #2 - Going Deeper with Collaborative Response Model-Advanced Workshop- presented by Kurtis Hewson
Leadership teams across the province and beyond are engaging in the essential work of establishing Collaborative Response Models, a school-wide framework that values collaborative, action-focused responses, data-informed discussions, and timely intervention to ensure all students can experience success. This advanced session will allow educational leaders a chance to dig deeper and determine further next steps for their Collaborative Response Model, particularly in relation to deepening staff collaborative efforts that dramatically enhance collective efficacy across the organization.
Kurtis will share numerous ideas and examples from schools and districts across the province, as well as provide extended opportunities for focused conversations with those in attendance. Come ready to share your successes, challenges and learn from others to assist in determining where to go next with your team.
