Jigsaw Learning is partnering with Edmonton Public Schools’ North Central Catchment to support school leadership teams in implementing Collaborative Response and strengthening collaborative approaches to student learning and well-being.
Led by Kurtis Hewson, co-founder of Jigsaw Learning and co-author of Collaborative Response, the initiative will bring together leadership teams from participating schools for a series of professional learning sessions focused on building understanding, guiding implementation and developing effective systems of support for students.
Participating schools will also receive access to the Collaborative Response Membership, providing ongoing professional learning opportunities, practical resources and tools to support their work.
“Effective Collaborative Response is built on strong relationships, intentional structures and a shared commitment to ensuring every learner receives the support they need,” says Hewson. “Working alongside school leadership teams creates opportunities to strengthen collaboration and develop approaches that reflect the unique context of each school.”
Through this partnership, Jigsaw Learning will support school teams in reflecting on their practices, building leadership capacity and identifying next steps to strengthen collaboration and improve support for learners.
