Elk Island Public Schools Continues Partnership with Jigsaw Learning to Deepen Collaborative Response

Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS) is entering the fourth year of a partnership with Jigsaw Learning to strengthen Collaborative Response practices across the division. This ongoing initiative supports school and senior leadership teams in creating sustainable structures that enhance instruction and improve outcomes for all students.

As part of the program, school leadership teams from new and returning cohorts will participate in a series of leadership sessions focused on examining and implementing Collaborative Response frameworks in their schools. Facilitated workshops on effective collaborative team meetings and data utilization will provide practical strategies for strengthening team practices and supporting student success.

All staff will have the opportunity to participate in Collaborative Response overview sessions to ensure a consistent, school-wide understanding of the framework. Schools will also receive tailored guidance through observations, written feedback, and debrief sessions designed to refine their collaborative practices.

“We are excited to continue our work with Elk Island Public Schools, helping leaders and teams build capacity to implement Collaborative Response in ways that meaningfully impact teaching, learning, and student outcomes.”
