Jigsaw Learning is continuing its work with Elk Island Public Schools in the 2026–2027 school year as the division moves into the next phase of its Collaborative Response journey. The partnership is designed to help schools maintain momentum, translate collaborative learning into day-to-day practice, and strengthen the ways educators work together to respond to student needs.
A central focus this year will be supporting school leadership teams through four learning sessions led by Jigsaw Learning's Kurtis Hewson. Three schools will also receive dedicated consultation to explore their current implementation, work through challenges, and identify practical next steps. Division-wide Overview of Collaborative Response sessions will provide staff with a common foundation and shared language, helping connect the work of individual schools to a broader vision for Collaborative Response across Elk Island Public Schools. Learning, school action plans, and consultation insights will also contribute to ongoing reflection and system-level planning.
