The Medicine Hat Catholic Board of Education is entering another year of work with Jigsaw Learning to further shape Collaborative Response as a shared approach across its schools. The 2026–2027 partnership will place particular attention on clarifying what Collaborative Response looks like across the system, helping leaders translate those expectations into practice, and creating opportunities for schools to examine what is working and where adjustments can make a difference for students.
This year's work will bring together system and school leadership through planning and learning sessions, with a strong emphasis on practical application. Leaders will explore the use of administrative collaborative team meetings and the development of key issue criteria, while selected schools will take part in a more in-depth review of their Collaborative Response practices, including team structures, data and evidence, and continuums of support. Jigsaw Learning will also provide targeted guidance for the development of Collaborative Response at the new Holy Trinity campus, along with onboarding options for new staff and continued access to professional learning resources.
