Holy Family Catholic Regional Division Strengthens Collaborative Response Across All Schools

Holy Family Catholic Regional Division is partnering with Jigsaw Learning to continue advancing the implementation of Collaborative Response, a framework that builds inclusive practices, strengthens collaboration, and ensures every student is supported.

Now entering its third year of system-wide support, the division is focusing on both refinement and sustainability of Collaborative Response across all schools. Leaders and staff will engage in professional learning opportunities, including leadership sessions and a mid-year check-in, to review and enhance their structures for supporting students. New staff will also have access to onboarding resources to deepen their understanding of the framework and its application in schools.

A key feature of this year’s work is the Comprehensive School Collaborative Response Formative Feedback process, through which every school in the division will receive individualized feedback on their practices. This process will provide insights into collaborative team meetings, the use of data and evidence, and the development of responsive continuums of support—ensuring that each school has clear next steps for strengthening their structures.

The senior leadership team will also receive dedicated support to establish a division-wide approach for sustaining Collaborative Response, aligning resources and strategies to meet the evolving needs of schools. Additionally, all schools will continue to access the Collaborative Response Membership, providing resources and professional learning opportunities to support ongoing implementation.

“Holy Family Catholic Regional Division has shown tremendous dedication in embedding Collaborative Response as a way to ensure success for all learners,” says Lead Learner of Jigsaw Learning, Kurtis Hewson. “This next phase of work builds on their strong foundation and sets the stage for long-term sustainability across the division.”

This partnership reflects Holy Family’s ongoing commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered environments, while also highlighting Jigsaw Learning’s mission to support schools and divisions in building collaborative, sustainable systems of support.
