Jigsaw Learning Continues Partnership with Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools to Deepen Collaborative Response

Jigsaw Learning is pleased to announce a continued partnership with Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools (WRPS) to support the enhancement and deepening of Collaborative Response across the district for the 2025–2026 school year.

Through this multi-layered approach, WRPS will receive targeted support to strengthen school leadership, collaboration, and evidence-informed practices that enhance student success. Key components of this year’s partnership include:

  • School Leadership Sessions — two full-day sessions and a mid-year online check-in, focused on reviewing and refining Collaborative Response structures and practices.
  • Divisional Steering Team Support — collaborative work to develop and implement divisional expectations and a process for internal school feedback and leadership partnerships. This is intended to shift the ongoing support and monitoring of the division’s Collaborative Response efforts to the division, developing internal capacity for ongoing sustainability.
  • Collaborative Response Membership — renewed access for school leadership teams to professional learning resources, tools, and ongoing support.

A central focus of the support will be building capacity for schools to take ownership of peer-to-peer feedback, guided by co-created divisional expectations and evolving through ongoing conversations with district leadership.

“Partnering with WRPS allows us to extend our mission of fostering authentic collaboration, reflective practice, and system-wide impact,” said Kurtis Hewson. “By working closely with leadership teams, we are excited for this year to focus on transitioning support and onging growth to the division and its exceptional leaders across the system.”

Jigsaw Learning’s partnership with WRPS reflects a shared commitment to connection, growth, and sustained impact, ensuring school leaders and staff are empowered to foster inclusive, responsive, and effective learning environments.
