
Jigsaw Learning is proud to announce a renewed partnership with the Calgary Board of Education (CBE) for the 2025–2026 school year, focused on strengthening and sustaining Collaborative Response across the system.
Building on previous initiatives, this next phase will guide school and system leaders in deepening their understanding and application of Collaborative Response to enhance coordinated student support.

The plan includes leadership workshops, targeted sessions for Education Directors, and formative feedback processes to help schools and teams refine their Collaborative Response practices. A mid-year review with CBE Senior Leadership will help guide next steps, with written feedback and access to Jigsaw Learning’s online resources supporting continued growth.

The Calgary Board of Education is the largest school district in Western Canada, educating more than 143,000 students in over 250 schools. To manage the needs of this large school system and efficiently support their schools, the CBE has divided their school district into seven administrative areas in Calgary. Each area is led by two Education Directors who provide leadership support to principals in 17-20 schools, and each Education Director has a central portfolio which extends K-12 across all schools (e.g. Early Learning, Core Curriculum, Well-Being, etc.).
