Carolyn Jensen Joins Jigsaw Learning Team

Jigsaw Learning is excited to announce the addition of Carolyn Jensen to our team. With 13 years of leadership experience as a principal in K-12 schools and an extensive background in instructional leadership, Carolyn brings a wealth of expertise in fostering educational innovation and supporting student success. As a key leader in the Collaborative Response process, she has implemented systems that focus on student interventions and infused professional learning, significantly enhancing the educational environment in her schools.

Carolyn’s leadership extends beyond individual schools, having served as the C2 Key Leader for Parkland School Division and contributing to initiatives like the Northern Gateway School Review Committee. She has a strong belief in continuous professional growth, supporting teachers from foundational skills to advanced instructional practices. Her work in inclusive education has shifted perspectives on diversity and belonging, both among staff and students, creating more welcoming school cultures.

Her commitment to creating effective programs and developing partnerships is evident in her work, from alternative education programming to crisis response leadership. Carolyn’s experience and passion for education will be invaluable to Jigsaw Learning as she joins the team to support schools in building strong collaborative cultures and enhancing student learning across the province and beyond.

As a Learning Associate, Carolyn will be working with numerous school leaders to assist in the ongoing implementation of Collaborative Response, providing one-to-one support and drawing upon her extensive experience leading Collaborative Response efforts in her own schools.
