At Murwillumbah High School, we have reimagined our student support structures, placing the Collaborative Response process at the heart of our practice. Most notably, the development of our Continuum of Supports helped us to articulate the dynamic relationship between learning and wellbeing and develop dynamic and ever evolving strategies to ensure every student is known and valued. Through Collaborative Response, we use collective efficacy, at all tiers of the continuum, to deliver support for students. Long meetings focusing on deficits are gone, replaced by action, not discussion, based collaborations which are purposeful, focusing on classroom instructional strategies and learning dispositions to grow strengths and yet to be strengths in our students. Collaborative Response is a key driver of our school wide collaborative culture and has been a major contributor to our strong growth in external assessments of literacy and numeracy.

Clearview Public School central, school leadership and family-school liaisons wanted to be extremely proactive and support staff and students through a pandemic through professional learning on co-regulation (learning how to regulate one's responses to changing circumstances). We reached out to Jigsaw Learning as a partner, and what a fantastic opportunity it was. Kurtis, Lorna and Aaron (clinical psychologist) lead us monthly through
- online professional learning with materials and additional resources to take back and lead our staff,
- collaborative time with our leadership colleagues, as well as
- communication pieces that could go home with students to help support our families through this pandemic.

Our new online learning school at Lakeland Catholic School Division had an extraordinary experience with Kurtis Hewson and his team at Jigsaw Learning. One of the greatest learning experiences we have had to date was the ability to record our collaborative response team meetings, forward the recording to Kurtis, and be provided with both written and oral feedback through a one on one coaching opportunity with Kurtis. This feedback was extremely valuable for our teams in order to continue working through our strengths, build on our weaknesses and move forward on making our meetings more productive and solutions based for our students.
